Kaylyn Forbes is a character designer and visual development artist based in Upstate New York. After receiving her BFA in Animation from the College for Creative Studies, she gained experience across many art disciplines. Between working as a freelance Character Designer and Illustrator, being on film sets as a Set Decorator & Dresser, and working as an Art Assistant/Fabricator at May + Watkins Design, she keeps herself busy doing what she loves.
In her illustrative work, she enjoys sharing the whimsy of life through unique shape language and vibrant color schemes. She finds herself most influenced by music and media from the years before her birth.
In her free time, you can find her rewatching her favorite films & TV shows, admiring older architecture, and having a good laugh.
